Next up: I’m editing on His Dragon Heart, a long shifter romance novella set in the Colliding Worlds series that tells the story of Gillian (Keira’s sister) and the dragon shifter Damon, who kidnapped Gillian at the beginning of Her Scottish Alpha. I’m also working on the rough draft of Long Night’s Moon, the next book in the Mad Wolf’s Harem series.

The Best of the Bad — Bad Boys of Romance H0p
I’ve loved many bad boys over the years, most of them between the covers of a book. Which makes it oh-so-hard to choose my favorite.
Should I choose Curran, the Beast Lord, Kate Daniels’ sort-of nemesis and greatest temptation? Or Eric Northman, who wooes Sookie Stackhouse with arrogant and singular purpose? How about Derek, that almost-a-full-grown-werewolf in the Darkest Powers series who can’t seem to figure out how to stop growling? And who could forget the lovely, sexy, tortured heroes of Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark series? (Every. Single. One.)
I can’t choose. I might blink and realize I made a huge mistake, that instead I love Iceman from Top Gun or The Saint…oh, The Saint. I might realize I love, love, love Oliver Queen, especially when he’s being broody and secretive and kick-ass. And I might remember that I must not forget all the wonderful, sexy, Navy SEAL heroes sprung from Suzanne Brockmann’s imagination!

Maeve lay curled in Nate’s arms, her eyes closed. Damian’s whole life, this was all he’d wanted. Except now it wasn’t enough.
Her eyes opened. “Thank you,” she said.
“You didn’t bring much.” The words came out of his mouth before he could stop them. “Not planning to stay long?”
Maeve sat up, Nate’s hand still resting on her hip. “It isn’t like that.”
“You aren’t going to try to justify it,” he snarled. God, when had he become such an asshole? He could see the same question reflected on Nate’s face. Damian usually didn’t act like this. It just—she just—
“Why are you taking it personally?” She stood. “It’s just luggage.”
He stepped forward, towering over her. “It’s two tiny suitcases. What, you didn’t think you were going to stay? Only brought enough to last a couple of nights?”
She stepped closer to him. They’d be nose to nose if she weren’t so tiny. “Why are you so angry?”
“Don’t tell me you don’t understand,” he said. “Those suitcases say it pretty well. You don’t want us.”
She sucked in a breath. The room grew silent. “It’s all I have.”
“I know. I got it out of the car.”
“No.” She put her hand on his arm. “That’s all I own.”
He looked at the two suitcases, his rage deflating. “You’re kidding.”
Nate stepped behind her. “There’s no way you have a whole wardrobe in there.”
“Well, yeah,” she said. “I like to travel light.”
“You mean you like to run off,” Damian said.
“She didn’t run off the whole time she was with her aunt and uncle,” Nate said. “Did you?”
Maeve shook her head. “But I was ready. If Ted ever found me…”
An overwhelming desire to protect replaced his rage. “He’s gone.” Damian put his hands on her waist. “He’ll never hurt you again.”
Hidden in an otherwise modern world, werewolves mate in threesomes dictated by a mating lust that tells them without doubt who their fated mates are. After struggling through years of separation made worse by the mating urge riding them all, three werewolves come together once again. I love the bad boys, whether they be shifters, aliens, doms, or cowboys. And since I only read romances with a happily ever after, they keep me coming back for more. I know that underneath that bad boy exterior lies a hero who is strong, sexy, loyal, confident, and protective of their woman even when they KNOW she can kick some major ass.

I simply refuse to make up my mind…there are so many wonderful bad boys out there for me to sample. I must be monogamous in my real life. And real life is so very stressful. No one really knows my bad boys. I’m a geek and I love anime. I love the anti-hero, and so far, I’ve not found better examples than Lelouch from Code Geass and Light Yagami from Death Note. They are bad boys you really, really wish you could side with, but at the same time, you know their methods are completely wrong.

Mmmm… bad boys. Excuse me while I salivate. To pick just one bad boy is so very hard, but I will try! I enjoy Christian Grey (who wouldn’t? Am I right, ladies?). His compulsive need to control is scary and hot all at the same time. I completely agree, choosing is so hard but honestly the first name that popped into my head when I saw the title of the hop was Acheron from the Dark Hunter series. He pretty much ruled every scene he was in.
